Project Description:

*The proposed water supply project is to cover Aitape District Town. It is part of the Vision 2050 to provide safe drinking water to all District Towns in Papua New Guinea

*A detailed feasibility study has been conducted and groundwater source has been identified for the water supply system.

*The Detailed Design Stage is now completed, including the Environmental Baseline Study (BES). Aitape WS is ready for Construction in 2015, pending availability of funds.

*A detailed groundwater investigation is completed – awaiting the report. The outcome of the report should then direct us in drilling bores as the source.
