The System calculation of Bills is solely dependent on volume consumed at each band.                                                                

There are two Volume categories: Band-1 and Band-2.                                                              

The Bill is calculated progressively at the Band in which the Volume consumed falls in.

For example: Customer consumes 75kL within a month                                                                                                             

The first 15kL @ Band-1 (15 x 1.50 = K22.50), the next 60kL @ Band - 2 (60 x 8.00 = K480.00)                                                                        

Thus the charge would be:       K22.50+K480.00 = K502.50 (Add 10% GST = K552.75)                               

                                                                                

If the customer is connected to the Sewer, the same principle applies:    

The first 15kL @ Band-1 (15 x 0.50 = K7.50), the next 60kL @ Band-2 (60 x 3.00 = K180.00)

Thus the charge would be:       K7.50 + K180.00 = K187.50 (Add 10% GST = K206.25)                               

  

The total invoice charge now would be:   

                                                      Water charge + Sewer Charge                          

                                                           K552.75   +   K206.25                

                                                          = K759.00 Total Payable
