Brief Description of the Project: The Urban Water Supply and Sanitation Security and Resilience Investment Program will finance priority capital investment and associated consulting services in Port Moresby and selected provincial towns in Papua New Guinea (PNC). The goal is to build the resilience and adaptive capacity of PNG water systems and communities to climate change, disasters, and other shocks and stresses, and to improve water supply and sanitation security.
Expected Works and Consulting Services to be procured under the project
The Government of the Independent State of Papua New Guinea, with support from the Asian Development Bank (ADB), proposes to implement the project in three (3) tranches for a period of 12 years at a total estimated project cost of USD 235.-3 million.
